53x11 Coffee is here. Ride Ready!

As a cyclist the two most important things to me are great coffee and giving back to the environment. I started 53x11 Coffee because I wanted to share my passion for what I feel is the best coffee available. We have taken our time in selecting coffees from around the world that are produced by organic farms that also abide by Fair Trade principles. By choosing our coffees, you will enjoy the taste of a fresh, specialty roast each morning, and you will be making a choice towards a better way of life for the many hands involved in producing your morning cup.

Many people come up to us at events and ask, "Why is 53x11 Coffee different?" We tell them that as cyclists and athletes we understand the direct impact of the small choices we make every day. We know that everything we put into our body has an effect on our daily performance. As coffee is one of the most highly chemically-treated crops in the world, we can benefit from beans produced without pesticides. The environment can benefit as well.

We are driven to provide the best tasting coffees and actively participate in the health of our communities and environment. Thanks for making us a part of your day.

A big thanks going out to the volunteers involved in the Ohio clean up project. Our newest friend Peggy Christy organized a project in her town because she wanted to make a difference and give back a little. Take a look at what they accomplished, Amazing.

Here are the results of the cleanup:
Smith Township (Mahoning County) Ohio Litter Sweep Report
13 volunteers
8.5 miles of roadway cleaned
trash collected            6,680 lbs.
recyclables collected   2000 lbs.
Total litter                   8,860 lbs.

*approximately every 5.17 feet of roadway =1 lb. of litter!!

Thank you to all who participated in any way to make this 1 day event such a
success!
